Across a total of 13 presentations, current developments and challenges in materials research were highlighted. The thematic focus ranged from freestanding oxides and the growth of 2D-vdW materials in experiment and simulation to novel magnetic 2D materials and ultrathin SiGe heterostructures.
With contributions from experts from RWTH Aachen, TU Dresden, TU Darmstadt, MPI Stuttgart, PDI, and IKZ, the workshop provided a diverse platform for interdisciplinary exchange.
